Night and Day Dance at Events
We teach and perform at parties, weddings, festivals, and other events. Our unique approach to performance and instruction is the perfect antidote for shy relatives, unengaged participants, or reluctant guests. Let our partner dance demonstration show what's possible, and then we'll teach everyone how to take that first step themselves!
We also perform with the local fire/circus arts company Firebelly Productions, and we've recently joined up with a community tap/dance/theatre group called Kol Halev. We'll also list our work with these groups below.

Sample Repertoire
The Evidence
This piece is inspired by the visual and thematic style of the film noir detective movies of the 1940's as well as the musical The Bandwagon with Fred Astaire and Cyd Charisse. A detective and the woman he is investigating agree to meet alone on a street at night. The woman tries in various ways to convince the detective to give her all the evidence he has against her. Does she prevail? Their story evolves through partner dancing.
Dance till Dawn
In this zany 15 minute story of dance, comedy, and narration, an aspiring writer/narrotor creates two characters and then throws them together and watches the sparks fly. A modern-day Cinderalla story, this piece premiered on a humble grass stage at the Summer Dream Reading Festival in 2007 and had the audience laughing despite the rain.
Partner Duets
We perform many different styles—traditional and elegant like Fred and Ginger; swingin' and joyful; sensuous, passionate, and bluesy. Every performance is an improvised exploration of movement and music in the moment. Let our special magic inspire you. Then we'll show you how it's done.
I Wish . . .
A man and a woman are caught with umbrellas in the rain ... and undergo a transformation. Danced to the song "I Wish I Knew How it Would Feel to Be Free" as sung by Nina Simone.
Roving Characters
Add some spice, curiosity, or humor to your event. We play a range of odd costumed characters for the enjoyment of your guests, both on the ground and on three foot stilts. Talk to us about the possibilities.
