Private Wedding Dance Lessons

Take the stress out of learning to dance for such an important occasion! Learn only what you want to learn in a relaxed, non-threatening way. Take a single "last-minute" lesson or a series of private lessons, and discover the joy of dancing with your partner.

Blues Dance Classes

We're delving more deeply into the blues scene again, forgoing large group classes for now and offering both private lessons and small group classes (6 or 7 students) in our home. So far the response has been really good, and we'll keep doing as long as our classes remain rull!

NEW Shorter Private Lessons

We have started offering shorter lessons, and with great success! Why? There are four main reasons:

For some, it's a more affordable option than a full hour.
45 minutes is easier to schedule than 60.
We have found that for some students, 45 minutes is enough time to learn a few key concepts that they can practice on their own, AND we have also found that the retention rate for most students drops after 45 minutes as well!
It's a cheaper, quicker way for students to practice with direct guidance, polish a few moves, or ask questions to complement their home practice time.

Private Lessons

Private lessons are a perfect way for individuals, couples, or small groups to learn just the style they want, at their own pace. See style options, listed on the right.

Private Lessons for Individuals Who...

If you want to be able to dance with your husband/wife, boy/girlfriend, and you want to surprise them, get a head start, or learn without them watching or knowing, let us know! This is a particularly useful option for men who feel like their partners already dance well, and need a chance to catch up!

Scheduling a Private Lesson

To book a private lesson, contact us and let us know what you're interested in learning and when you're available. You can pay with cash or cheque (or ask us about Paypal/credit card options). Just bring payment to your first lesson. (In the case of larger groups or bookings far in advance, we request a desposit for the amount of the first lesson.)

Cancellation Policy

We try to be as flexible as possible, since we also need to adjust our schedules occasionally. With at least 24 hours notice, we can usually fill your spot, and we won't request a cancellation fee. The more notice, of course, the better!
